GILDED HOME TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

PLACING ORDERS

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day via our website www.gildedhome.com, faxing to 407-574-2549 or emailing contact@gildedhome.com. For questions or other inquiries, please contact customer service at 407-401-9770 or e-mail contact@gildedhome.com. All orders are accepted subject to standard terms and conditions. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. 

 

PRICING

All pricing is determined by qualification of customer, wholesale/stocking retailer, designer net/non-stocking designer, and list/retail. Orders are FOB Orlando, Florida and are subject to change without notice.

 

DESIGNER NET

There are no required minimums when purchasing at Designer Net pricing. A valid resale tax certificate and business card along with the credit card authorization sheet is required to purchase from Gilded Home. The credit card authorization form is available on our website at www.gildedhome.com or upon request from Customer Service.

 

WHOLESALE/STOCKING DEALER

Retailers with a store front location in a commercial delivery area can qualify for wholesale pricing plus freight by meeting our minimum opening order. A valid resale certificate, company letterhead, business card, and sales rep verification of store front along with the credit application and credit card authorization form is required to purchase at wholesale pricing from Gilded Home. The credit application and credit card authorization form is available on our website at www.gildedhome.com or upon request from Customer Service. The minimum opening order for wholesale accounts is $2000.00 and 3 items with a $350.00 reorder minimum. Stocking Dealers must maintain an annual purchase amount of at least $2,000 per calendar year to retain Stocking Dealer pricing. 

All first orders require payment via credit card. You will be notified via email of your account code, username and password upon processing. No opening orders will be accepted below the minimum.

 

ORDER PROCESSING & SHIPPING TERMS

All first orders must be paid via credit card and submitted with the credit card authorization form. Orders must have the account name, billing address and ship to address clearly shown. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all orders. The balance of the order, including shipping charges and any other charges, are due prior to shipment. In- stock goods require payment in full upon order placement. Inventory will not be reserved without payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. No COD shipments are accepted. Gilded Home ships product as soon as available. This may result in multiple shipments. Our standard flat rate freight pricing ensures that freight will not be charged more than one time for any one product, regardless of the number of shipments on the order. Gilded Home ships FOB from our Orlando, Florida warehouse with freight added to the invoice. Unless advised by the purchaser, Gilded Home will determine the appropriate shipping mode and carrier. Product shipping is based on availability, with in-stock goods shipping in five to ten working days. Shipping Charges are based on weight and are charged at an appropriate % based on location and service level. Due to the fragility of our products, some items must be shipped white glove, these items will not fall into the same % categories as other items.

DAMAGES & SHORTAGES

Gilded Home inspects and carefully packs each order before shipping with every effort made to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition. All shipments should be inspected immediately on arrival with all exceptions noted on the delivery receipt at time of delivery by the carrier. All claims for damage and or shortage must be made within 72 hours of receipt of the merchandise. Digital photographs of damaged goods and boxes will be required for replacement of damaged goods. Save all damaged cartons until any claim with the carrier is settled. All custom order items are not eligible for return.

 

RETURNS

Any return must be authorized in writing in advance by Gilded Home. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. A 25% restocking fee will be accessed on all returns without prior authorization or for goods not deemed defective. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to properly package authorized returns to prevent damage. Authorized returns arriving damaged due to poor packing will not be credited to the return customers account. All custom order items are not eligible for return. All authorized returns should be sent to: Gilded Home, 3626 Silver Star Road, Orlando, FL 32808.

 

BACKORDERS

Every effort is made to ship orders quickly and as completely as possible, but, on occasion, items will be backordered based on availability. As such items become in stock, we will ship without notice.

 

DISCLAIMER

All products in the Gilded Home collections are handcrafted by artisans and craftsmen all over the world. Small irregularities in shapes, surfaces, and finishes are hallmarks of such craftsmanship and should not be considered defects. The actual items may vary in color from the photographs within our catalogs and sales cards. Specifications of individual items are subject to change and may differ slightly from those shown or stated. Wrinkling may occur during the packaging/shipping process of upholstered goods. Customer is responsible for having these wrinkles removed. We reserve the right to periodically change terms and conditions without written notice. We reserve the right to make modifications to prices, products and/or product components without prior or written notice.

 

E-COMMERCE

In order to sell Gilded Home product through your website, you MUST apply for e-commerce status and receive prior written approval. In addition to registering for a Gilded Home resale account, E-commerce vendors must send the following to contact@gildedhome.com to be considered: website URL, shipping policies, and a list of similar brands to Gilded Home that are represented on the site. E-commerce customers must adhere to up-to-date IMAP pricing. Product images may only be used on customer’s website with permission from Gilded Home and must be branded with the Gilded Home name and product name. Gilded Home welcomes direct reference or “linking” to its website www.gildedhome.com within specific guidelines.
